Luciana Paoluzzi was born Rome and raised in Rome by her parents. The father of her was Manlio Paoluzzi, an Italian soldier in the Army. Maria Rota Paoluzzi was one of the mistresses of Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana studied at a local school before matriculating at the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of the only women in her class. Her modeling career began after two years. However, this changed when she received her first acting role by accident while visiting her father's Rome acquaintance. The role was a two-line role in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey was the first woman she got married to. He's an actor. Following their marriage in 1960 they produced an ensemble film called Return to the Peyton Palace.
